Kite Instructor

Job Description

• Teach safe, engaging beginner and intermediate kite lessons (small groups of 4–5 students)
• Run theory sessions, safety briefings, and equipment setup explanations
• Organize no-wind activities such as theory workshops, kite handling, SUP/kayak tours, or light-wind training
• Help guests understand wind, weather, and safety concepts
• Keep all gear clean, well-maintained, and appropriately stored after each session

We’re a small community, and everyone plays a role in keeping things running smoothly. All instructors help with light shared tasks such as:

• Keeping the equipment garage, dry room, and inner courtyard clean and tidy
• Helping with small tasks around the house or garden (like mowing or general upkeep)
• Respecting shared spaces and creating a welcoming, well-kept environment

This isn’t heavy maintenance work — just part of living and working together in a beautiful space by the sea.

Requirements

• VDWS or IKO instructor license
• At least 1 season of teaching experience
• Fluent English (German or Danish is a plus)
• Responsible, sociable, and guest-oriented personality
• ⚠️ Must hold an EU passport or a valid European work permit

Work Environment

We offer a relaxed atmosphere, small group sizes, and a lifestyle that balances work, rest, and play by the sea.

• Season: End of April – End of October 2026 (6 months)
• Groups: 4–5 students per week
• Hours: ~20–35 hrs/week
• Contract: Fixed monthly salary (not weather-dependent)
